Heartsongs (New)
Heartsongs, one of GSSA’s
most popular offerings, is a multi-session, supportive
workshop exploring and discussing common later life
issues and concerns. Topics are both practical and
emotional and include medical decisions (e.g., Advanced
Health Care Directives, POLST, Five Wishes, etc.);
personal choices for funerals, memorial services and
remembrances; ethical wills, values sharing and memoir
writing; downsizing, decluttering and heirloom
distribution; later life living options; caregiving;
direction for finding appropriate legal and financial
advice; and emotional issues such as letting-go,
reconciliation and preparation for partnerlessness.
Workshops are tailored to the needs of the participants.
